During February half term, take a trip to Christchurch Mansion in Ipswich for two days full of activity, get stuck into some eco-themed fun and show nature some love – all for free!
On Tuesday 14th February, meet all kinds of experts, including GeoSuffolk, Suffolk’s Naturalists Society, the RSPB, and more.
On Wednesday 15th February, take part in a whole host of fun activities, from making fat balls for birds to learning about our coastal environments.
Have you found something interesting and wondered what it might be? Bring in your own rocks, fossils and natural finds. Experts will help you identify them and discover more.
Join friendly eco artists to help build a 3D model of Christchurch Mansion and park. Find out more and book for this activity here. Places for this workshop are limited so booking is strongly recommended.
As well as the workshop, there are free drop-in activities for all ages, including toddlers. You can find out more about Wednesday’s activities here.
While you’re at the Mansion, don’t forget to visit the Landscape Rebels exhibition. Activities are located on the ground floor and in the Wolsey Art Gallery in Christchurch Mansion.
