- Nick is the Head of Planning and Programmes at the National Trust and Chair of the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape Partnership.

Simon is the Manager of the National Landscape staff team and leads the National Landscape Partnership.

- 10.00am - 10.30am – Talk 1 (Place) - Planning and Applying Section 85 – Beverley McClean, Planning Officer, National Landscapes
Beverley is the Planning Officer for the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape and neighbouring Dedham Vale responsible for developing responses on behalf of the National Landscape on planning applications and consultations as well as developing guidance for developers and local authorities to inform decision making
- 10.30am – 11.00am – Talk 2 (Climate) - Inspiring Community Action - Eamonn O’Nolan, Chair, Deben Climate Centre
Eamonn is the leader of the Woodbridge-based Deben Climate Centre, which aims to influence the community, create active projects which allow people to genuinely lower their carbon footprint, and raise awareness of the climate emergency. Learn more at www.debenclimate.org.
Prior to his retirement, Eamonn was a successful businessman working in the technology and financial services industries. He has been involved in Suffolk local politics for ten years, and has served as a Woodbridge Town Councillor since 2014, with two stints as the town’s mayor.

- 11.35am – 12.05pm – Talk 3 (Nature) - Suffolk Wader Strategy - Alex Moore da Luz, Nature Enhancement Officer, National Landscapes
Alex is the Nature Enhancement Officer for the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape, and neighbouring Dedham Vale, responsible for delivering the National Landscape’s Nature Recovery Plan, coordinating projects, working with external partners and landowners, and overseeing regular volunteer tasks.

Carrie is the Founder and Executive Director of Natural Habitat, a grassroots environmental charity reconnecting communities to nature, food and each other.
An experienced collaborative community project developer, Carrie has worked in creative public engagement and the charity sector for more than two decades, devising work with a wide range of communities and stakeholders. Find out more at www.naturalhabitat.org.uk.
