Every September thousands of people across the UK head to the coast to take part in the Great British Beach Clean, a week-long citizen science event, where hundreds of beach cleans take place up and down the UK.

The Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) team organises events throughout the year for our AONB Beachwatch volunteers, with special events organised during the Great British Beach Clean.

In addition to the events organised by the AONB team, which are already fully booked,, there are also a number of other Great British Beach Clean events you can take part in without needing to register as an AONB volunteer.
