The Great British Beach Clean 2025 now complete!
The National Landscape team’s public clean and survey at Bawdsey on Friday 19th September went well with 11 volunteers in attendance, including a group from Anglian Water.
On Monday 22nd September we had the usual wonderful boat trip out to RSPB Havergate Island where our National Landscape Beachwatch volunteers surveyed and collected debris on the foreshore to provide the consistent that Marine Conservation Society needs. Thanks to the RSPB for hosting us!
The foreshore is now clear of debris ready for the many birds that will overwinter there. In addition two cleans have been facilitated at Trimley Marshes Suffolk Wildlife Trust Reserve for Suffolk County Council Teams, namely Waste Team (20) and Growth, Highways and Infrastructure (33).
The photos are of Friday’s clean up at Trimley Suffolk Wildlife Trust Reserve where 33 volunteers from SCC Growth, Highways and Infrastructure removed well over 100kg of debris.
